San Paolo Skyscraper

The skyscraper will be the site of the Intesa Sanpaolo banking group and will be located in the district of Turin Cit Turin. Once completed, it will be the tallest building in Turin after the Mole.

The project was presented to the City in November 2007, but due to internal differences in the addition of the City of Turin regarding the height of the building in relation to its proximity to the city center, it has been modified making the final height from about 200 to 167.25 m: 25 cm less than the highest building and symbol of the city itself, and the Mole.

This is so sad, Turin is such a beautiful baroque city and that was what made me fall in love with it. I just hope they at least add some Italian flair to it. Skyscrapers have no soul and I fear the soul of the city may start to fade as I believe this may be the first of many :(

Why do BANKERS have to ruin everything?!

From whatever details I could see, looks like it is going to be quite striking building.

Love that you use b/w for this!

Thanks Krisz...
Hi Shiera, whether it will be a sour in the eyes or it will enhance the city image, we don't know yet, but by now, it does seem to conflict with the rest of the look of the city, and worst it can be seen pratically from everywhere....:S. They should have built it further away from the city....

I just hope too many don't start to pop up. I live in London and there's random buildings everywhere and it all looks a bit mis mash,in Turin it just seemed so perfectly planned, everything seemed like it belonged, I just hope they know what they're doing ;)
