Bluetail Damselfly

Damselflies (suborder Zygoptera), typically smaller than dragonflies, are sometimes confused with newly moulted dragonflies.

Saw a couple of damselflies at the river Po, their striking blue color is very distinguished and beautiful....they seem to sparkle under the sunlight.

David In The Courtyard

I am not sure who the statue supposed to be, I will just think of him as 'David' and he looks good standing in the courtyard in his full glory.

Summer Sales

The sales sign can be seen all over the streets, to attract more consumers, to help with the economic crisis, 50%, even 70% sales but how genuine are the sales, or more appropriate to ask, how genuine are the listed prices?

Thirst

Is pretty hot these few days, one gets thirsty easily while walking around town under the heat, luckily there are the Toro fountains located around, so we can quench our thirst without spending money, plus the water is really fresh and cool.

Foal

After visiting the graveyard Cimitero Monumentale Di Torino, walking along Via Alfonso Varano toward the river Dora Riparia, surprised to find a little foal staring at me from a courtyard of a house next to the road....
He got scared when I raised my camera to snap a shot, and he ran to his mum.....

Lavander

 Lavander at Imbarchino, river Po....

when she kissed

the moon good night
stars bashfully twinkled .
the black on her lips

stained the night sky
 .
everyone thought it a bad omen .

I said

this is how the heavens love
 ;
this is how you love
 .
you paint home your favorite color
I put lavender flowers in my heart .

everyone said

this purple
doesn’t make you king
 .

I said

this is how
you start being human

In/Cubo

IN / CUBE is one of the winning projects of the 1st edition of the Art Contest environmental communication for young people under 30,''SI PUÒ RACCONTARE UN FIUME?'', Is a cubic portal that wants to accompany the citizens, making them participants and protagonists in pollution reflection of our daily consumption.

The River Po is framed by an arch of packaging waste: a prediction, contained in the title, which is likely to come true if we do not respect the landscape that surrounds us
It is located on the terrace beside all'Imbarchino, Viale Umberto Cagni 37 (Parco del Valentino)

CICLONUDISTA

Naked Bikers traveled from Parco Valentino, Imbarchino to the center of Torino in their minimum costumes....Unfortunately I couldn't catch up with them to capture their journey in the center which would be more interesting and meaningful.

Campus Luigi Einaudi

The Campus was built thanks to the recovery of the North East side of Turin, between Lungo Dora Siena and  Corso Regina Margherita, the so-called former Italgas area, used for industrial high pollution impact work, in complete disposal from the 70s of the last century and in state of severe disrepair.

The acquisition of the former Italgas area (completed in 1998) is part of a larger project to decongest the University, based on the idea to create several centers of teaching specialization, spread out in the city and in the outer zone.

Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata

The church, today the result of a reconstruction in twentieth century, was built between 1648 and 1656 by the project of Charles Morello on behalf of the Brotherhood of the Holy Annunciation along Via Po, along  the new extension of the city.

At the end of the nineteenth century, the building wasn't in good condition and was inadequate to the needs of the community served by the brotherhood, so in 1913 it was decided to demolish and rebuild. The project by Ing. Giuseppe Gallo, began in 1919, finally completed in 1934.
