Time Out

Recent discussion on the Civil Union Right for same sex couples has fell into victim of games between the politicians. Different parties have created different obstacles to ensure the law won't be passed smoothly.

Now the already very much compromised original proposal might fall into even more discriminating and undignified state.

Last Saturday, a Flash Mob was organized in piazza Castello where the supporters of the same sex couple's rights gathered and lie down to protest against the reluctance of the government in passing the law.

That's too bad that the politicians have to create more obstacles for the people to maneuver through. Hopefully people can break those down. It is an issue that won't disappear. Change does happen if the people keep up the pressure. Good luck!!

It's a matter of civil rights. Why is it that hard for the opponents to grasp that?
