d'Artista is an event born in 1998 from a public lighting project
created for the Christmas holidays. Following the success achieved in
1997 with Emanuele Luzzati's nativity scene in Piazza Carlo Felice, the
City of Turin extended the initiative to various squares and streets of
the subalpine capital. Italian and foreign artists were invited to
interpret the illuminations not as simple decorations but as works of
art, giving life to a great cultural event, an exhibition of
contemporary art which, with the use of light, combines art with urban
landscape and encourages encounters between the general public and
artistic creation. The exhibition is constantly evolving: the number of
artists involved increases, the streets and squares that host the works
change to create an ever new and different spectacle of scenographic
lighting of the city.</span></span></b></p><p><b><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"></span></span></b></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2So64aY7ptObzkTCyPyu_kd3RgqYOEog6tmqrABboCETnHFvK4VWmHvEm_wkn73Upw6l8lfjRE3YTvRTNr06jh45IXsvBeY2L12UiGJZugS0UXJx2WCzHTRGtcPyd-sxoHCAHRnHlCvV-2upMyCyia0iJXd3QBN33O2sZ9qtgNZ6Gi8WfyiKPRY6Z12w/s2700/My%20Noon%202%20bn.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1802" data-original-width="2700" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2So64aY7ptObzkTCyPyu_kd3RgqYOEog6tmqrABboCETnHFvK4VWmHvEm_wkn73Upw6l8lfjRE3YTvRTNr06jh45IXsvBeY2L12UiGJZugS0UXJx2WCzHTRGtcPyd-sxoHCAHRnHlCvV-2upMyCyia0iJXd3QBN33O2sZ9qtgNZ6Gi8WfyiKPRY6Z12w/w640-h428/My%20Noon%202%20bn.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p></p><p><b><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Rehberger's
