The scene of transition from autumn to winter at the Royal parks is beautiful, red, golden leaves still struggling to hang onto the branches with La Mole finally in fuller view at the background and part of the old city wall in foreground.
At one of the entrance to one of the park stands the statue of Count Teofilo Rossi di Montelera. He was an Italian politician and entrepreneur.
A Piedmont noble. He was Minister of Industry and Commerce, Senator of the Kingdom and Mayor of Turin. During
his union, with royal decree of 27 April 1911, he was made Count of Montelera by Vittorio Emanuele III, on the occasion of the inauguration of
the International Exposition of Turin, on the fiftieth anniversary of
the Unification of Italy.
