Reopening Of The Garden

After 20 years of closing its gate to public, finally the Royal garden has reopened. The entrance will remain free of charge until the full re-construction is completed, then a fee will be charged to enter.

La Mole viewed from the Royal garden

A long and costly re-construction, which the garden has been cleaned up, the bushes were cleared, a new, very ordinary fountain was  added and the old, gorgeous fountain 'Tritoni' is still waterless and stained.

By the result, frankly speaking it doesn't justified the 1.5 million euro spent for the re-construction.

However, it is still a pleasure to finally unable to take a walk in this garden which is located right in the center of the city.

Belgium Mole

The Belgium flag projected onto La Mole, as a sign of closeness to the victims, and their families, of the terrorist's attacks at Brussels.

Senior Photographer

Saw this elderly lady at piazza Vittorio, concentrating to snatch a photo. Love the way she did it, so concentrated and seem full of determination to get it right, it gave me a very positive feeling.

Arches To The Piazza

These arches link from piazza Castello to via Po, so even when it is raining, crossing over to via Po is not a problem, just have to be careful of the traffic.

Just Another Snowy Day In March

Is snowing again, in March, when we are already expecting the arrival of Spring, the very first batch of flowers has blossomed, and the snow came down this morning.

Yesterday evening, there was 16 °C and this noon it is 2 °C.

Let's just hope that this is the last snow of this winter,

snowing can be nice but maybe at the appropriate timing?

These are the views from my balcony looking down to the street.

Crossing Via Po

Via Po can be quite heavy in traffic, the end of it where piazza Castello is, the traffic light crossing is a safe way to cross over from one side to the other.

Love the view looking at the Gran Madre church at the other end....

Night Bench

There is a series of benches in the middle of via Langrange, perhaps to allow tired shoppers to take a rest before continuing their journey of purchasing.

Often bored guys can be seen sitting there waiting for their wives/girlfriends to come out from the shops....

Snow In March

Saturday out of sudden, the snow came down in March, not much of it but still quite bizarre.

Then by noon, practically there was no more trace of snow on the road, but the temperature was lowered significantly.

Snow in March, was it related to the climate changes?

Where I Belong

Where I belong? Well, I would like to belong to a place like this :

surrounded by friendly animals in an open space....Unfortunately I live in city, but this place is just less than two hours drive from where I am.
