The night before at 2300 hours, one block away from where I live, major gas leak was detected in a building. The whole building was smelled of gas and an apartment on the fourth floor caught a fire and I assumed was quickly put off.
The whole area was fenced off, traffic was blocked even today.
The authority is still trying to work out where is the leak and to stop it.
It was quite a scene to look at, especially with all light off in that area.

I know of a building here that had that some weeks ago. The residents got evacuated, but it was sorted in a few hours.
Here, the street is still blocked for traffic, it might take a week to finally re-open.
