Due to the Covid-19, restaurants need to ensure safety distance between tables, thus the number of tables allowed inside the resturants is significantly reduced.
To compense, more spaces are reserved outside the restaurants to allow them to setup tables for clients.
It seems that many restaurants are taking thing too far, there are no safety distance between the tables setup outdoor and many placed the tables up to edge of the piazza or streets, forcing pedestrians to walk on the road where cars pass.
Curiously enough, everyday, people complain that due to the Covid-19, works are affected and they can hardly make ends meet, however, almost everyday, the restaurants are full.

Eating Out In Autumn
Is a chilling Autumn, still people are willing to eat out, sitting outside and have their meals.
So, this restaurant at piazza Carignano setup heating units with giant flames to keep its customers warm and good.

Tables At Piazza Vittorio
As soon as winter left, bars and restaurants started to lay out their tables and chairs under the arcades or in the piazza, whichever offers the available open space. It can be very nice eating out under a clear blue sky or starry night, but as the temperature rises, places near to the river, such as piazza Vittorio tend to attract lot of mosquitoes...

Glass Eating House
Is more and more usual to see these glass houses (rooms? or whatever they call them) along the streets, just in front of the restaurants. I can imagine that it should very nice if outside is pouring heavily, sitting inside and eat, kind of awesome actually eating under the rain and not getting wet, but I am not so fond of having traffic passing by and car honking every minute while I am trying to enjoy my meal.
