Arte Alle Corti - Palazzo Birago di Borgaro

In the courtyard of Palazo Birago di Borgaro includes two art works. After Love, the large installation of Vedovamazzei, alias Simeone Crispino and Stella Scala, is located at the center and is also visible from the street through the main gate.

The work is the reconstruction of the lopsided house from the famous film of Buster Keaton's One Week (1920). The building, in which you can enter, is based on a careful study of the frames of the film. With the installation of this work creates a paradoxical and unsettling contrast between the refined  symmetrical beauty of the baroque architecture of the court and the deconstruction of messed modest prefab.

The installation of the Swiss couple Glaser / Kunz, Daniel Glaser and Magdalena Kunz, Autoportrait, helps to create an alienating situation in a noble courtyard. It is a car parked next to the wooden house, inside are two dummies (Talking Heads), which, through a video projection on the faces and their recorded voices, producing a hyper-realistic vital effect .
