Walking By The Color

This morning the sky looks heavy, dull and gloomy, forecast is that there will be snow today.....Well, even on such a day, there are always the colorful and vivid graffiti to keep the day looks interesting.

Dora Riparia

The Dora Riparia is an alpine river, a left-hand tributary of the Po. It is 125 km (78 mi) long, with a 1,231 km² drainage basin. It originates in the Cottian Alps, close to the Col de Montgenèvre in France, where it is called the Piccola Dora. Its name becomes the Dora Riparia after the confluence with the Ripa in the Argentera Valley and the Thuras de Bousson close to Cesana.

Ponte Carpaini

Across Dora Riparia, one of the bridge is Ponte Carpanini.
The bridge is 43 meters long and 12 wide. In addition to the two middle lanes for transit of vehicles, a bicycle lane and a side walk flanked by a wooden staircase overlooking the river.


The Bridge Carpanini is the only movable bridge for the city, is located on the Dora Riparia, near Borgo Dora neighborhood in Aurora and connects Piazza Borgo Dora to Corso Vercelli. It is named after Domenico Carpanini former deputy mayor of Turin.
