Foreign Encounter

Two 'foreigners' under a more deserted point in piazza Castello, under the arcade. 

One sitting there texting on his mobile, while the other just entered and most likely wondering whether or not to approach him for some coins....

Gypsy Beggar

The gypsies are everywhere, once they were fascinating and intriguing group of people, often seemingly mysterious and liberal......
Now, after being 'blocked' by them in every street, asking for money, insistently pushing their hand, or even their babies right in your way to get money, a sense of irritation given rise. Not to mention, eye witnessing them trying to pickpocket in bus stops, on the metro and various places.....

As for this woman ( not really sure if she is gypsy or not ) begging at the corner of via Po and piazza Vittorio, one might care to offer some coins to her. After a few steps along the same stretch of street, seeing women with the same style of clothing standing or squatting there, begging in the same way, one begins to wonder if they belong to a corporation of professional beggars....
