June is the month of Pride, have pride in who you are, have pride in your family and have pride in life.
It was a hot day and still people celebrated the day with music and dance througout the parade.

It was delightful to see a group of grown ups enjoying themselves dancing to the folk music, amazing us with their dance steps and movement, so energetic and full of joy.
It seemed like they are from a dancing group who practise together regularly.

The reason that we went to the Festa of via Vanchiglia was because a friend of us was performing some folk music there with a group named 'T'ses Folk'.

Went to the Festa Of Via Vanchiglia, an event orgnised by the Traders Association of via Vanchiglia in collaboration with the Associazione Federeventi Piemonte ( Turin ).
The festa was held in via vanchiglia, surrounded by historical and quality shops.
There were games for children, crafts and typical products stands, music and dance.
The first performance we saw was this indian dance performed by two beautifully dressed ladies in indian costume.

A serie of installations is spread around the Royal palace and its garden, the installation titled : Animali A Corte: Vite Mai Viste.
Various art installation of animals made in different materials are placed inside and outside of the Royal palace, includingin the royal garden which is free acess to the public.
One of the installation is these giant snails in the garden.
On the first few days, there was not warning signs about no touching of the exhibition pieces and of course no climbing on top and no riding of the snails.
Then, some people took them as if they are in the children playground, not only allowing their children to ride the snails, the parents too took turns to sit on the snails.
The result is, after just a few days of the exhibition, one of the snail was broken and needed repair.
Warning signs are then placed near the exhibited pieces....

Turin had quite a long time without rain, and the rivers were slowly drying up, especially the main river Po, the water level was so low.
Luckily, it started to rain few days ago, and according to weather forecast, it might be rainly for some more days, hopefully not up into the week when Turin is hosting the EuroVision.

The shadows of the balconies casted on the wall me affascinate always, they seem like an extention of the balconies into the wall.
And the shadows of the bicycles stands bring out a different image, they are full of hearts.
