View Of Po From Regina Margherita Bridge
It was a long and cold walk, from Lungodora Siena all the way up to Piazza Vittoria, pased from river Dora to river Po, but the scenery of the two rivers, Dora and Po made the effort worthy.

One of the work of luci d'artista that I like the most is the one they did at monte dei Cappuccini, little blue ring lights surrounding the church like tiny UFO, looking from below the hill, it look fabulous.

Reflection On A Clear Day
On a clear, fine day, reflections of various glasses, mirrors, shining surfaces amaze me more than their actual counterparts. Here is an example, the reflection seems like an extension of the building across the street.

Lights deco at Porta Palatina
Luci d'artista is a cultural event initiated by the city of Turin in 1998 and the city of Salerno in 2006. During the holiday season, some squares and streets of the city are covered in lights, lights that go beyond the usual year-end: they are works designed by contemporary artists, who qualify for the high scenic value and / or highly symbolic values and conceptual.
This particular one is located at Porta Palatina, a sun with colorful beams right in the center of the old gate.

Anna Dancing at Balon
In Torino there are a number of people with special personality, I would say that they are prominent, Anna is one of them. Whenever I see her, she is always so cheerful, dressed up in her unique style and loves dancing in the street. Is always a joy to see her, no matter what other say about her, I just think she is unique and free spirited.

Balon Flea Market
The Balon is the flea market of Turin, it was born at the end of '700, even if placed in another area. The present layout dates back to 1856 when a resolution of the then city council moved the market for scrap iron from its previous location near the Porte Palatine.
It takes place every Saturday in the historic Township Ball (Borgata del Pallone), located in the area of Porta Palazzo, between the historic food market of Porta Palazzo, one of the largest open-air markets of Europe, and the river Dora Riparia.
The Township ball named after particular habit of the workers who were in the hour break to bet their meager earnings in the fronton of which remains as a trace only the surviving wall with the writing "Bowl Game".
The name arose from the saying of the workers "Andoma to giughé to balon" (aka: "Let's bet at elastic ball game"), from which comes the name of Ball Township, and in Piedmont remained the name Balon .

Agostino Caresar At Palatine Gate
At Porta Palatina there is a pair of bronze status, they are of Augustus Caesar and Julius Caesar, this pair of bronze statues depicting
are not originals but copies from the last, radical restoration of
1934. They, however, are the subject of dispute, as it placed
incorrectly in the internal area occupied by statio and not outside where, possibly, would have more relevance.

Birds watching on River Po
Beside the usual gulls which populated on the river Po, there are also the mandarins and swans occasionally the cranes come and join in to look for food....
It is rather difficult to take photo of them flying along in high speed, especially when the light condition isn't ideal, anyway tried my best to capture some of the actions.

Leading To The light
Walking through small streets like via Dei Mercanti toward a bigger street like via Garibaldi at night, often gives a sense like walking toward the light, sometimes it has a rather surreal feeling.

Piazza Cavour
Piazza Cavour is one of the main squares of the historic center of Turin, located a short distance from Piazza Carlina and Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
history
The area currently is identified by the name of Borgo Nuovo, it was opened in the seventeenth century under the regency of Maria Cristina of France, but in the nineteenth century the space of the Piazza Cavour was intended for construction: until the end of the eighteenth century quest 'area was occupied by walls that protected the city of Turin, right in Piazza Cavour site was one of the bastions of the fort.
When Napoleon occupied Piedmont, he gave the order to bring down the walls of the city of Torino, making it possible to expand the same to the south. On the death of Camillo Benso di Cavour, the square was named after him, as a natural continuation of the confluent Via Cavour.
Since then the square was intended to be a green space, it was embellished with elegant gardens, decorated with two artificial hills, which was used to create the ground of the previous defensive bastions.
