Coziness in La Cavallerizza

It might look rustic, even sort of damaged and rough,  but put in a few tables and chairs, with the weird looking deco hanging here and there, la Cavallerizza proved to be quite a conformable and cosy place to hang out with friends.

Dog In The Church

Once it was not allowed to bring in dogs ( or any kind of animals, I guess ) in a chucrh, but now, it is not uncommon to see people bring in their dogs into the church, even a big one like this one.....

Perhaps there are lesser people going to churches, so the rule has been relaxed?

Football Fans Tragic

During the final of champions league, fans were super excited, a big screen was set up in piazza San Carlo to show the match in the evening, however by noon, there were already fans gathered in front of the screen taking up position.

Also bars had provided viewing of the match with their huge TV setup, usually outside just in front of the bar, like this one at via Monte Di Pieta, fans were sitting on the other side of the street to wait for the screening on the Tv at the bar on the other side.

 At noon, under the hot sun, fans were already taking up positions in front of the big screen

However, the poor organization, security plus human paranoia caused the event to be ended in tragic, 1526 injured and 1 dead.

Is Sunny Day

Getting hot in Turin, the air is dry and hot, and got me sick for a couple of days.....
The good side of having sunny days is that on the street everything looks brighter and the views are clearer, and at this time of the year, the colors are richer....

Storm Arrival

Some days ago forecast predicted that a storm should be arriving, yet it didn't come. The temperature reaches 30 °C during the day, it is hot for spring, even though we are approaching summer now.
 Just few weeks ago, the weather was rainly, dark clouds would approached out of a sudden and covered up the sky of Turin center.

P.S. The storm arrived yesterday.

CDP June Theme : Nature

Is CDP theme day and is Spring too, time for the nature to wake up from the winter hibernation....

 Just by the road side, one can see that nature has started to show it colors....
