Bear Mural

Have known about this huge mural for quite some time, but it is located not exactly in the center, so didn't have the chance to see it up close until recently a visit to a clinic near by.

The mural features a huge sitting bear and is located just beside the Colosseo Theatre, at the San Salvario district.
It is the creation of Portuguese artist Artur Bordalo who is also the nephew of painter Real Bordalo.
Named "Big Trash Animal" as it is made of recycled materials and scrap, mostly from cars and bicycles.

Pond Of Rain Water

July is pretty hot but in this week, almost everyday a thunderstorm comes and showers the city to cool it down a bit. Since the roads in the city are mostly not so well maintained, ponds of rain water often formed on the uneven roads. It is not good for cars and people using the roads, but pretty good for making photo of reflection.

Here is one reflecting the building at the junction of via Pietro Micca and via Bertole.

Quench For Thirst

Hot, hot, hot, with the temperature reaching up to 35 °C, walking around the town can be dehydrating, fortunately there are quite a number of fountains all over the town and the water is highly drinkable.

A long queue in front of the fountain at piazza Vittorio for the fresh, cooling water comes from the Alps.

July Theme Spirit

For the asian tradition, burning inscenses holds an important position, is a way to send offering to the spiritual world or a way to try to communicate with the spirits....

Even in half abnadoned and ruined temple, there are people placing inscenses to pay respect to the spirits.
For the CDP July theme, I offer this photo taken in Cambogia....
