CDP May Theme: Cyclists

There is an organised tour by bicycles in Torino. The idea of a group of cyclists riding their bicycles through the streets of the town is great, but sometimes they can cause some inconvenience to others as they pass through the narrow streets of the older part of town.

I have chosen this photo of cyclist passing under my window for the CDP May theme day.

CDP May 2023 Theme Day : Museum, Cinema Museum

I have posted many photo of La Mole, a popular tourists attraction and landmark of Torino.

Beside being a dominating building, it is also the cinema museum, with many fun things to see and to play with, and a platform on the top to enjoy a panorama view of the city.

CDP May Theme : Shopping

The May Theme is Shopping. the only shopping we do in these days is getting groceries or medicines.

 

Only supemarket like Pam, Carrefour etc are opened and small stores own by the indians or pakistanis which back home in Singapore we called them Mama shop, these stores have been opening up all over the place in recent years, even in the center where the rent is not cheap, just wonder where did they get the funding from?

Big shopping complex like the Rinascente in Via Lagrange is closed, so no shopping, we are in a lockdown

CDP May Theme - Laugh

For the CDP May theme , I present this photo of my friend BarbieBuBu who is a mechanic by day and in the evenings or in his free times, he acts as a drag queen, providing lots of fun and laughers to people who come to see his show.

By the way he laughs, I am pretty sure he enjoy very much doing what he likes and is doing it very well.

CDP May Theme : Smell

At piazza Solferino, a special event was held there, a series of stalls promoting France products. 
There was one particularly 'good smelling' stall which was selling soaps, beautiful, colorful and very fragrant soaps.

Obviously to choose the soaps, people started picking them up and smell them....

Everyone likes a nice smell.....

CDP May Theme-Revolution

CDP May theme is 'Revolution', it can mean  ' an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed. ' or simply ' a moving in a circular or curving course, as about a central point. '.

There are many discontents about the government, about many things, many protests and strikes going on, but nothing really changed, perhaps it needs a real revolution.

Just like this ' Merry go round ', they can keep going round and round, but nobody on board to really do anything.  Just an empty carousel.
