Guard Dogs

People in Turin love to keep dogs, some love to keep big dogs, some keep more than one, even if they live in apartment.

Big dogs need space to move, they need to go out as much as possible. While in time not possible for them to get out, they will just stay on the balcony and watch.

Dog Day Afternoon

These few days, it is so hot in Turin, in certain hours of the day, the streets are almost deserted, people prefer to stay in door or under shelter , to hide from the sun.

In Cavour garden, a pair of golden retrievers couldn't resist to jump into the pool with the fountain to cool themselves.

Canine Meet Up

In piazza San carlo, this huge Great Dane stood still, refused to go away, insisted to wait for the arrival of his little friend.

The two finally met up and greeted each other, perhaps saying " happy New Year, mate! ".

Dogs Talk - Socializing

Often meet people walking their dogs on the street and often the dogs are willing to get 'socialized' with us, while the owners show more reluctance to get close. Some, not only keep a distance, they forbid their dogs to come near for a sniff, or ask for some caresses by pulling them away in a harsh way......

River Dogs

Dog's owners love to take their dogs for a walk along the river Po, nice view and great space for the dogs to move around, but I would be careful not to let the dogs get into the water, as it doesn't seem so clean, and would try to stop them for getting the birds and ducks gathering around the river.

Overall, it is still joyful to see the dogs enjoying themselves in the nature.

Guess

Guess....how much money the couple gave to the guy?
Guess...why is he homeless?
Guess...how he manages to keep the two dogs, despite not having any money and a shelter?
Guess.....

Doggies Pride

In Italy, homosexuals are not allowed to form  legal family, so, to many, the closest thing for a family might be their pets. Here are some pets joining their 'parents' at the ' Family Pride'.
