A Tunnel To The Palace

Beside the cathedrale, there is this little 'tunnel' which links to the courtyard of the Royal Palace. Due to the great difference of style of the buildings and the difference type of paviment, it is as if the tunnel is a link to two different worlds.

CDP July Theme Motion

The fun of taking the metro is to get to the front seat of the first cart and watch through the glass panel how the metro rush through the tunnel.

Of course having a camera in hand just added more fun to it.

Tunnel Of Tree

This is Corso San Martino, looking towards the direction of the station Porta Susa where a modern sculpture is elected in the center of the roundabout.

In summer, the trees on both side of the road formed an arch covering the road, looks like a tunnel passing from piazza Statuto to the station.

In The Metro Tunnel

Torino has a rather 'young' underground metro system, the train is small, luckily it is seldom packed, so it is often enjoyable to take a ride.

I especially enjoy sitting right in the front and looking through the front glass panel, looking at the track and the tunnel as the train speeds through....

Tunnel

This empty, rather creepy tunnel belongs to a cinema, not sure why it is not being used for....many years by now.....
