Via Cernaia, the street which leads to the train station Porta Susa and beyond.....
A busy street, heavy traffic most of the time, and it goes from Porta Susa up to via Pietro Micca.
On a good day, the Alps is visible behind the old structure of the train station.

One And A Half Ball
The new sculpture in front of the old building of station Porta Susa. The black marble one and a half ball.
Not sure if I like this better or the huge watering can they placed here last year.

A Glimpse At Porta Susa
The overdue rebuilt of station Porta Susa is quasi completed, if I remember correctly, the work was started in 2009 and was expected to be completed in 2011, now we are in 2013, the newly rebuilt station is functionable, but there are still works going on. Anyway, the 'completed' is pretty impressive, the structure design is modern and striking, both internally and externally.

Station Porta Susa
Station Porta Susa has been under contruction for a long time, rumour has it that the work progress was stopped for a period of time, due to bankruptcy of the construction company. Fortunately, the work was picked up again and finally some result has shown.
