Spring Day

Sunday was a fine, pleasant day. The temperature was about 22 -24 °C most of the day.

Out at the Royal Park, little daises were blooming everywhere, people were gathering around, lying on the green meadow to enjoy the arrival of Spring.

Spring, a good time to sit by the river side with a dear friend and chat about whatever....

These few days , the weather is particularly fine for getting out and furthermore, face to face chatting has became precious in this mobile phone era....

Welcome Back Mandarin Ducks

I thought they were disappeared, the gulls used to chase them away when they came over to this part of the river. Last year there was no sight of them along the river, now with the arrival of Spring, they have reappeared and even swam up to this part of river Po.

By the look, it seems that some courtship is happening.

Among the flowers displayed in piazza Castello, there are also some daisies, their simple, delicate white petals never failed to impress me....

What a nice feeling seeing the colors of spring, the fresh green, bright yellow, striking pink, the white of the clouds and the blue of the sky....

Spring Crowd

Finally a day of spring, crowds of people were gathered in the center, enjoying outdoor in this warmer day. 
People were just walking around, visiting the various temporary markets in  various piazza and of course eating and drinking in the open.

A particularly crowded Via Cesare Battisti, with stalls of the market on one side and tables of the restaurant on the other side, plus human traffic in the middle.

Blossoms

Surprised to see a small area of cherry blossoms along Corso Francesco Ferrucci near the zone of the Polytechnic of Torino, the striking bright pink flowers bring such joy to see, even though it was partly snowing partly raining at that time, the feeling of the arrival of spring was filling in the air....
