Free K Pride : Music

Music, an essential part of a parade, it helps to bring up the atmosphere and in some ways, manipulates the emotion of the crowd. 

The music during the K Free Pride was especially energetic and influencing.

No matter what attire you are in, it is always nice to meet and greet each other. 

Attitude is what defined you, not what you are wearing....

Free K Pride: Spank Me

Saw some girls gathered together and one was holding the sign: Spank Me Please. Not sure should anyone go ahead and do it, but I just took a picture with no intention of fulfilling her request.

Free K Pride : Master And Slave

They appeared at the piazza during the Free K Pride, role playing as sort of master and slave, a young asian master and a older caucasian slave. 

They hung around the piazza, but didn't see them during the parade.

Free K Pride: Unique Look

A rather unique look presented at the Free K Pride, he was standing at a corner looking before decided to join in the parade.

He was pleased that we took his photo as we waved to each other after the shot.

K Pride : Low Hanging Pants

There are many bare-chested guys with low hanging pants at the K Pride manifestation, totally demostrating their free, easy and  unconstrained attitude.

K Pride La Frocessione

Not quite sure what was it about, the K Pride.

'WHY FREE-K PRIDE?  

We claim the carnival, the bad taste, the provocation, the inconvenience. After more than a year of pandemic we can say that no, we have not come out better: on the contrary we are witnessing a resurgence of sexist and homolesbobitransphobic violence that punishes those who try to self-determine by breaking free from the cis-hetero-patriarchal regime. If you think this is a rhetorical and ideological discourse, Free-k Pride comes out of its fangs for you too and shouts in the street that we don't want to get used to living in a country where a woman is killed every three days, often by a man who has House keys. That we don't want to get used to living in a city where a 'rainbow bag' is an excuse to be brutally beaten on the street; where a teenager throws himself under a train and even after death he is sent threatening messages referring to his sexuality.'

I was passing by the piazza unintentionally, unawared that there was a manifestation going on. 

It was the next day after I had my 2nd dose of vaccine and I was not feeling so well, actually I was feeling a bit cold in the house, so I decieded to go for a walk under the hot sun to warm up a bit.

Then, I saw the policemen along the street, and then I saw all these colorful people in the piazza. So, I started snapping photo and ended up joining the parade.

It was colorful, wonderful and full of fun.

Free K Pride

This year, due to the Covid - 19, the pride was cancelled. However, last weekend, there was another type of pride, matching across the center of the town. 

The Free K Pride as they called it, was to protest against all kind of discrimination.

Not sure what to think about a Pride match at this time of Covid - 19, as can be seen in the photo, there was no social distance and most of the participants were without masks.....

Good cause or stupid? Who can judge?
