Raining Dogs And Cats

Finally the rain arrived, after one night and one day of raining dogs and cats, the temperature reduced from 38 °C to maximum of 19 °C and a minimum of 13 °C.

From the photos, it doesn't seem to be raining heavily, but during the night it was rather violent and throughout the day, it switched between drizzling and pouring.

One of the service who is still working during the lockdown is the postage service.

Still Raining

Still raining, a scene at via Lagrange with my favourite building on that street in view.

Via Lagrange is one of the main shopping street in Torino, with some high end fashion shops and Eataly restaurante situated here, it can be quite crowded during weekends.

Winter Rain

These few days Italy is hit by long lasting rain, it just keeps raining and raining, although in Piedmont it isn't as serious and damaging as in other regions, such as Liguria and Toscany, but is annoying and frustrating.....

Bookstore Glass Panel reflection

There is an elongated bookstore along via Garibaldi which is built completely in glass, the large glass wall panel reflects the people walking along this stretch of via Garibaldi, and is quite interesting to look at, especially when it rains.

Duel Under The Umbrellas

This photo was one of my considered choices for the CDP February theme : Umbrellas, but it didn't make the cut.
It was a raining day and I was walking along Via Garibaldi trying to snap some photos for the umbrellas theme, I saw this group of people waiting the traffic light to turn for them to cross the street, the way these two guys standing almost facing each others somehow made me imagine two gunmen having a duel in the far west, only here they have the umbrellas.

Umbrellas In Movement

I normally don't like to use umbrella, even though I always keep a small one in my camera bag, but I like to look at them in a raining days, they provide much colors and liveliness to these usually grayish days.

Here I made these photo when people were walking fast and protected under their umbrellas in an evening of pouring.

This post is part of  February Theme Day - Umbrellas.
