Portrait Of A white Goose

This white goose has been messing with the wrong group for quite some time now, the group of geese is actually two bridges further up the river. This lost goose is here with the group of ducks and he often does seem out of place, I never see any duck 'talk' to him, he must be very lonely....

Anyway he seems love to pose for camera shoot.

The Blue Walk

The renovation work of Porta Nuova station has been going on forever and doesn't seem to be near the end any time soon.

These temporary blue walls have became almost an actually part of the station, it seems for more days to come, people coming out and going into the station will still have to pass through these blue 'tunnel' .

Victims

Tunisia's Bardo museum attack by terrorists took 4 Italian's lives.  They were all cruise passengers of the Costa Fascinosa who visited the museum as part of the tour.
The two innocent victims from Piedmont were placed in the town hall for people to pay their respect and final farewell.

Building With The Piercing

Torino's charm lies with its ancient roman remains, old churches, splendidly decorated buildings ,long arcades, on the other hand, when one takes  time to look around, he can discover some unconventional and rather curious characteristics of  the city.

Just an example, this piercing ring on the side of this building dating back to '700 at Piazza Corpus Domini, between Piazza Castello and the town hall. It is the work of Corrado Levi, and it is called ' Baci Urbani '.

With Po, the longest river passes in Torino, it is no wonder looking at the river is one of leisure activities here......

Saw this guy standing outside the church San Tommaso in via Pietro Micca, occasionally he paced up and down, perhaps he was waiting for someone, anyway, the sunlight was kind of amazing, so decided to record down his existence.

Candid Shots Across The Street

Most of the time, I bring my camera along whenever I go out, just in case something interesting might catch my eyes.
Across the street where I live is church San Tommaso, when there is a mass or any event, people will be going in and out, sometimes, in a good light, the images presented are just irresistible not to be photographed.

A couple just came out of the church and was standing there deciding what to do.....

Long Shadows

Whenever there is a sunny day with clear sky, at the right time, the sun will cast out long shadows from people walking around the piazza, it is really quite delightful to see. To me, somehow the shadows seem to be more animated than their owner......

An elderly man was about to step onto the reflection of the billboard which has Mr. Ferro kicking up a leg.

Just The Woman I am

8th of March is women's day, in Torino, an event  "JUST THE WOMAN I AM" was organized in support of university research on cancer.
Women were running and also the men who love and support them were running along too.

Women run, run.....or walk....or cycle....

and the men who support them.....
