A Pause From The Rain

Yesterday was a pause from the rain or the week long raining has finally stopped?

Anyway, I was wrong about the sky, we indeed got a blu sky, not completely clear, but definitely was very blue in most part of the day.

So, we had a walk and got these shots at the entrance to the park at the ancient roman gate, Porta Palatina.

Forbidden Garden

Follow up by the fencing of the buildings at La Cavallerizza Reale, also the once 'open to pubblic' secret garden behind the buildings ( it is actually part of the royal garden linked to the royal palace ) is gated up.

The once Eden like, free spirit garden where public can bring their dogs to take a walk, enjoy a bit of nature with the view of La Mole towering from afar, is now closed to public.

Metal gate of The Theater

Under the arcade at the entrance to the Royal Theater, the heavy, complicated designed  metal gate of the entrance makes a sharp contrast with the simplicity of the curved ceiling of the arcade.

It is also one of the peaceful walk away from the ever busy, crowded via Po.

Looking through one gate to the other one at the end of the courtyard and the one across the small street and another and another......at Via Giovanni Botero.
