Last Rain In March

The last (almost) rain in March, it was quite a pouring for almost the whole day.

With the crowd of tourists came in for Easter hoilday and the non stop raining, the center was quite chaotic.

Let's hope the beginning of April is more calm and gentile.

A Pause From The Rain

Yesterday was a pause from the rain or the week long raining has finally stopped?

Anyway, I was wrong about the sky, we indeed got a blu sky, not completely clear, but definitely was very blue in most part of the day.

So, we had a walk and got these shots at the entrance to the park at the ancient roman gate, Porta Palatina.

These few days the sky is extremely clear, although very cold, but still, is a really fine day to walk around to snap some photos.
The piazza in front of the main station 'Porta Nuova' is piazza Carlo Felice, there is a pond near one end of the piazza, the water seems to be icy and thin ice have already formed on the surface. Occasionally, pigeons which gather around the piazza fly over to get a sip of water or to look for food.
Here is one which is landing on a rock in the center of the pond.
