Hot Summer Nutria

With the water level of the Po lowered in this hot summer days, the birds  and animals are able to 'stand' in the Po to rest and like this nutria, to wash themselves.

At least two nutrias are spotted swimming toward this end of the Po, which is nearer to the town center.

This nutria were enjoying his summer cleaning in the Po.

 

Hot Summer Sun Flowers

Sun flowers belong to summer, especially in a summer so hot......

These are the sun flowers planted in piazza Castello, an enhancement for the hot, hot summer this year.

Arte Alle Corti - Palazzo Costa Carrù della Trinità

Dog Day Afternoon

These few days, it is so hot in Turin, in certain hours of the day, the streets are almost deserted, people prefer to stay in door or under shelter , to hide from the sun.

In Cavour garden, a pair of golden retrievers couldn't resist to jump into the pool with the fountain to cool themselves.

Pride Torino 2015

The Torino pride took place just after American legalized same sex marriage all across the country. Although in Italy, the fight for legal right for same sex couple is still going on and unlikely it will has the same result as in US any time soon, but the spirit was high and everyone was happy for US, get motivated to carry on the fight.

CDP July Theme - Upside Down

July theme for CDP is Upside Down, came into my mind immediately was the image of this performance in piazza Castello, a man often performs together with, I assume is his daughter. 
One of his act is doing his stunt upside down.
