Lock Down The Twenty-Third Day

23rd Day.
Same balcony, same street.

On the opposite side of the street, a man was running on the the pavement along the street, fully geared, running with great determination.

3, 4 persons were waiting at the bust stop on the other side, waiting with the same determination for the bus.

It seemed so quiet, almost so careful and delicate.
Italians are not the silent type, they even talk with their hands, but now people are so silent.
Perhaps I couldn't hear from the balcony, or they were just not in the mood of being talkative.

There were always the honk, the impatient sound of the car honk, and the whirring, the vrooming sounds of the cars, also roaring of the trams and the piercing sound when it braked....
These sounds were absorbed.

Why are the cars now moving almost silently? Why are tha trams seem moving so smoothly?

Instead, there are too many unwanted noises by the media, especially on the internet.  Too many made up news that cause confusion and disturbances.

The quiet has taken hold here too.
