Lockdown The Fortieth Day

Already 40 days since the lockdown started.
40th day, Saturday, sunny. More people were out taking a walk, a sunny spring was just inresistible and people couldn't wait till the phase two of the lockdown to get out.

Three days ago, when I was down to the store below to get something, took the chance to have a little walk.

The furthest I could get to was the junction at the end of the street before reaching piazza Castello.
On the way, there were two police cars passed by, but they didn't stop to check on anyone. There were also some people walking along the road and some cars rode past.

Standing at the junction, looking at La Mole from afar and from here was where we usually decided which way to go for a walk, via Po, via Roma or just go towards the Royal garden.
Now I just couldn't go any further, couldn't overcome the barrier of responsibility to just ignore the restrictions.
So I turned back and headed home.

Location : Via Pietro Micca

And your lockdown is more stringent than ours. It must be exhausting.

Responsibility. Would that more had it. But it looks as if people DO in Turin.
