Just A Bit Of Snow

It started to snow at about 0900 hours, fine, tiny snow which immediately melted once it touched the ground, and by evening, the snow had already turned into rain....

Rat On The Wall

La Pantegana (The Rat) on the wall of a building along Lungo Dora Savona, not sure why it is painted there, but it does leave a 'huge'  impression......

Perhaps to symbolize the problem of rat invasion in that area ?

Cutie In Display

A cute little fur ball sat in the display window looking out to the crowd walking along via Garibaldi. He would jump excitedly whenever some other dogs passed by.

Winter Rain

These few days Italy is hit by long lasting rain, it just keeps raining and raining, although in Piedmont it isn't as serious and damaging as in other regions, such as Liguria and Toscany, but is annoying and frustrating.....

Ridiculous Protest

The Lega Nord was protesting last evening, parading along via Pietro Micca at some point.
The reason was "in defense of democracy," to protest against the decision of the TAR that annulled by the presence of an irregular list, the regional elections of 2010, won by the coalition supporting the Piedmont secretary of the Lega Nord, Roberto Cota.

So, he was nominated under a list of fake signatures, and the responsibles (!) were condemned and yet on what ground he should still stay in position, as if nothing had happened?
He being elected is the resulted of an invalid nomination, thus he being elected is also invalid!

He and his party, instead of apologizing for cheating the whole region, they went onto the street and protest against the decision of the TAR. Perhaps he should just go away and save himself some dignity.

They were dancing in piazza Castello all dressed up sparkling, not sure for what occasion, but kind of lively and entertaining to watch, especially under the cold and grey sky of winter....
